a recent member of the twitter cult, i 'followed' solange and wale - because i'm a fan, of course - but also cuz i'd heard rumors about their being boyfriend and girlfriend - which she has denied, btw, despite back and forth tweets declaring their love for one another. But whatever, eh.
Wale is very much Nigerian and has been quoted as saying as much, so in a typically Nigerian manner i am that much more of a fan because he's a 'homeboy' repping for Naija!
Anyway this re-surfacing of my girl crush on the solo star on this blog is all about her recent appearance in honey mag, and i must say, the photos were hot! edgy, individualistic, very, very much solange and themed 'solo in the city'. have a look see:

She got a lot of attention after she chopped off her locks, and it did draw attention to her strong facial features, but if anybody can rock the chopped locks it is clearly her!
