Yanga

So, this has been happening:

My friends at The Naked Convos have been so kind as to publish my weekly column on their site! It's very exciting, and very nerve-wracking to be attempting to tackle "women" matters. There's just so much fatigue associated with the topic. I, for one, am sick of being 'empowered' and 'supported' and having my 'rights' defended, and being told that I want to do the same thing a man does the same way he does.

Quite frankly, I don't.

Yanga is supposed to be a practical how-to, discussing erroneous perceptions - that we have of ourselves - and trying to spark a new way of thinking about ourselves that might change the way we live and work: absolutely without comparison to men, and devoid of today's confusing gender rhetoric.

We are not the same, and that is a good thing. Because that's how it was intended.
