But Why

Face it fashion is shallow, materialistic, empty. It cannot change the world, it does not end wars, it does not liberate the psyche.

It is capitalism incarnate and takes wasteful consumerism to its highest echelon. It is a social divider between the haves and have nots.

It is a billion-dollar/pound/yen industry that is able to delude us into thinking we need more and more when in reality we do not really need anymore.

Fashion is even now adding to our already large garbage piles that affect our environment with – THROWAWAY FASHION(which is something I hate to love to hate love…….I haven’t quite decided if I hate it but that is a topic for another day).

Back to the point.

Fashion is an extravagant indulgence, For some or many it is an addiction, a potent mixture of crystal meth, heroine and cocaine to the 100th power.

So why start another fashion blog? Well, because fashion is fun, simple as that. We are not trying to change the world nor are we trying to start a marxist movement or comment on the superficial social hierarchy. we are here to comment, critique, analyze, share our view and love of fashion and all its associated industries.
